The sign of a trustworthy dealer is after you’ve handed over the money and driven away. Without out doubt this is one of the BEST. I purchased a VW Tiguan and it developed a fault, on contacting GC he did not hesitate in telling me to take it to my favoured mechanics and he’d sort the rest. My mechanics, who are a sceptical bunch at best, said he was undoubtedly one of the true gentleman of the trade, he did not quibble, ask for cheap inferior parts, he was solely concerned in customer satisfaction. He settled the bill and the car has been superb since. I have no hesitation in recommending A & R Autos, they should be your first and only choice

Would fully recommend buying a car from this dealer. GC is the most honest car dealer I've ever met. Easy to get hold of, quick to respond to messages and phone calls and quick to sort out little issues with the car. I'd fully recommend buying a car from these guys. I won't hesitate to buy one again in the future.

Thumbs down from me. Smooth sale and delivery, but the car they sold me had a cracked exhaust and developed an electrical fault within 3 months (and in less than 1500 miles). Not exactly normal wear and tear that would be caused by my driving, especially as it was sold to me with a fresh MOT. Buyer beware. Edit: In response to the reply below, I contacted the dealer with regards to the issue and they palmed me off with the warranty which did not cover the fault. As for the 'unpleasant' text message here it is in full: "So the exhaust on this vehicle disconnected from the engine and now there is a massive electrical fault making the car unable to be driven. Considering it hasn't been 3 months since I bought it from you and has barely done 1500 miles in that time this is really shameful. Especially as none of it is covered by the warranty you signed up for. For a garage that supposedly only sells the finest second hand cars you really have sold me a lemon with this one. 🤣" You didn't bother responding to that. The electrical issue was not just 'a light' it was a full failure where even the speedo would not work. You failed to engage with any of these issues and just ignored me or fobbed me off. By 'a number of reviews' it has been two on here and autotrader. You ignored me. Do not play the victim. Your reply is a disgrace. You claim to offer the best customer service when you've offered zero and tried to smear me with your reply. And as an aside, reading my other reviews... nobody said that was the same car, but I'm so glad you consider it OK for customers to go and have to get vehicles repaired elsewhere after buying them from you.

All Surface Cleaning
Just purchased a DS4 from GC at A&R and couldn't be more then happier with the service. We didn't like how the wheels were scuffed, so GC had all four proffesionaly refurbished. Was happy to meet us late In the evening to view the car, leaving us on our own and not being pushy. Would highly recommend!
