What a nice and lovely accommodation. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location of the B&B is in a quiet street so you won't be disturbed by any noises. We didn't had a car but the walk to Lymington centre was around 20min, you'll find a Tesco express around the corner and some nice fields to walk around. Elaine who is running the B&B is super friendly and helpful. Always up for a nice chat during breakfast, which is really filling. Overall we had a lovely experience and would recommend it.

We stayed for a weekend, Elaine truly is the little Gem. Clean and comfortable bedroom with a small but adequate on suite. The breakfast was fantastic. We couldn't fault it for the price. It is well placed to go exploring the New forest or you could just stay in town which is within a 15 minute walk to the Quay.

Firstly Booking.com you are incorrect in staying A Little Gem is temporarily closed. "IT IS NOT TEMPORARILY CLOSED" My wife and I have just enjoyed a 3 night stay, A Little Gem is as the name suggests just that and more. Accommodation: ***** Cleanliness: ***** Breakfast: ***** Proprietor: ********** Elaine is quite simply the real gem a very welcoming helpful and genuine Character. A Diamond by any other name. We would definitely book again in a heartbeat should the occasion arise. Nigel & Jenny thank you and wish you all the very best for the future.

We and our pet dog received a truly warm welcome. The room was very comfortable and spotless and the breakfast was great too. There is plenty of parking and the location is a short walk to lymington town centre so you don't need to drive in the evening to find somewhere to eat. There are some beautiful walks around the nearby marshes too. Would definitely recommend staying here.
