  My very first time purchasing a wig and A-list lace hair was recommend to me by my friends. I’m so pleased I made an appointment and purchased a wig from them. Customer service was exceptional and I was made to feel super comfortable. I will definitely be returning for another wig for sure. Definitely took away my fear of wigs!. I high recommend this company. Very pleased.

  I was ignored for 40 mins despite having booked an appointment for a wig fitting. The manager was pleasant enough and apologetic about it however this was only after all the waiting. I also want to note that there was a member of their staff at the desk who didn't even bother to ask me if I was being attended to and instead decided to sit on her phone. Ignoring paying customers is completely abysmal. Had the customer service been acceptable, this business would have gained a repeat customer. For my first ever wig experience, this has not been a good one.

  Whole process was Absolutely perfect!!! The consultation was seamless the assistance I was given was perfect. The manager was amazing, patient and gave fantastic advice. The fitting was Fantastic she was like an artist when fitting my wig!!! Defo going again without hesitation!!!!

  I bought a wig just over a week ago having called to book an appointment. Having read previous comments, I was aware about the card machine not working however was greatful that the receptionist advised me on the phone that the card machine was not working otherwise due to cash machine withdrawal limits, I would have had to leave the wig. Once arrived at the hair studio, I was made to feel very welcome by all members of staff. The lady who showed me three types of wigs was very lovely so I can't fault the customer service. The wigs looked like good quality wigs when trying on, were not bulky in the slightest and layed in a natural position so i was initially impressed and excited for the fitting. Having chosen my wig I was asked to pay first and then the lace would be cut, tinted and fitted. I guess some organisations do things differently asking for payment upfront but I'm not to argue with ones business practices. Because I was also getting a fitting, I had to use two separate cards to withdraw the payment from the cash machine conveniently situated across the road from the hair studio. On my return, I was sent a link to review the wig however was wisely advised not to immediately review, hence thought best to at least wear the wig for a while before making this review in order to give a thorough opinion. Having paid for the hair, another young lady took the wig to be tinted whilst I waited in another room. She returned not long after, cut the lace and adjusted it on my head, put some mose at the front and blow dried the mosed area for a few seconds. The lighting was not the same in this room as the room I had tried the wig on, it was much brighter in the other room. For £50 to instal a wig, I was expecting something much more than that therefore I would not have parted with such amount of money just to instal a wig as I didn't feel that was value for money. Having left the establishment and sat in my car looking at the wig, getting home, it looked completely different to the wig I had tried on. It was bulky, did not lay down and the lace was way too light for my skin tone which i was dissapointed about. When i got home to show my family the wig, they were just as shocked and also pointed out the colour of the lace and the bulkyness of the wig compared to that shown on their social media accounts where the lace appears invisible and the wig is pulled back above the cornrows. You could also see quite prominent knots so when the hair was parted, it looked very unnatural. There is some shedding of the wig, but nothing that greatly concerns me. I was advised on how to comb the hair to reduce shredding. There also does not seem to be enough hair between the partings once parted so again, that affected the overall look of the wig. Additionally, it doesn't look like a glueless wig at all which I was disappointed about as I had spent almost £300 on this wig which I may not wear going forward. I have not called the shop to notify them of my concerns, as I have written this purchase off as a loss and moved on. I'm fortunate enough to be able to do so. I presume the only thing they could do is attempt to dye the lace darker or give me a new wig, identical to the ones I tried on! The actually quality of the hair is not bad, however the construction of the wig is not what I expected. I have bought another wig from a well known wholesalers from abroad which was x3 less than what I paid for the wig at A-list hair and was of a lot better fit and a darker lace more appropriate to my skin tone. This review is my experience and I will continue to support black owned businesses. Would I buy hair from them again? Yes if the hair they offered was what was shown on their social media profiles, I'd be more than happy to shop there again. I can only reiterate that the customer service was amazing but sadly the hair not so much hence the 3 stars. *pic without the coat was before fitting, pic in coat was immediately after fitting
