Had to engage another plumber to complete the work which Mykel had started but left leaking and faulty. The second plumber quickly identified the issue and fixed it with a minimum of fuss. Once paid Mykel had refused to go back to rectify his mistakes. The tenant had asked for months, for him to go around and sort out the 'Nest' which he had installed that never worked and a leaking joint he had failed to rectify, which was never done. All-in-all a really disappointing experience with both ourselves and the tenant left feeling let down and frustrated. I would not use this person again nor would I recommend them to others. We use Maria & Mykel to service our boiler every year. My parents moved last week so I invited A & F Gas to service their boiler. Unfortunately, they had to turn it off as it was unsafe. This left my parents without hot water/heating. Mykel & Maria gave my parents a quote which was great value, the boiler was ordered, they postponed all their jobs the next day to fit the new boiler & didn’t leave until the job was done. We cannot thank A & F Gas enough. They are professional, friendly & will not rip you off. We are all so grateful to them. Highly recommend without hesitation. THANK YOU! I am so relieved to have discovered AandF, not just friendly, prompt and reliable service from these guys, but above all, open honesty, with time taken to explain working systems simply, advise on how to prolong the life of the systems they’re checking and an understanding that, ultimately, we have to be safe, but we don’t want to spend all the money in the world replacing things every few years!
