Popped into the shop with my dog to browse the products. Was extremely unimpressed by the two girls by the till. Absolutely no acknowledgement or welcome or hello, eating sweets in front of us (the customers), on their phones and just was an extremely unprofessional thing to see. I'm not sure if the owner is aware their staff are giving such poor customer service. It is normal courtesy to welcome a customer with a smile and ask if they are looking for anything imparticular/need any assistance. I was with my friend and felt immediately uncomfortable and unwelcome in the shop, so stayed for 2 minutes at most then left. I don't mean this in a malicious way, but as constructive criticism. The kind owner has entrusted their employees to run the shop even in their absence and they aren't even giving the bare minimum of effort and manners and frankly the owner deserves better. The store is absolutely beautiful, with a range of lovely products - it was just a shame about the employees.

Ive never had or felt the need to write a bad review but after much thought, I felt compelled to share because my experience was quite awful. Historically, I've spent over £400 on leads and bits at the Eton/ Windsor stores. Ive helped to expand their business posting items on my dogs social page and telling friends and work colleagues to pop in. Now I wish I'd had my eyes wide open to things. On several occasions I have had shockingly poor service from the two young assistants at the Windsor shop. They make up prices on products as they are too lazy to check and are poorly equipped to help with harness sales which can have a dangerous outcome. I bought a harness from one of the minions it was such a poor fit my pooch wriggled out of it. I asked to return the unused item so I could change it for another or buy something more expensive (win win) despite proof of purchase (there was a delay to return due to wrist surger) i was meet with a rather stenchy no! So i happily gifted it. 2 wk ago I returned to buy 2 Horse n Hound leads/ collars (£200) service was diabolical.. was worse than ever or maybe i just didn't notice before! The 2 girls on the till played on their phones for ten mins and looked straight ahead, they might as well have pulled out a bed! Talking only to making up prices on the leads n collars, when I checked they scowled at me. I was now so appalled I filmed them to show the owner. (Be cheaper to open the shop, let ppl serve themselves and leave the money lol) Before I left asked when the owner was next in. Service. It was like pulling teeth from a real Texan cow! A few days later I saw the owner stalked both my instagram pages sending rude messages, accusing me of being rude and telling me my business wasn't welcome. Since I had evidence, I offered that she view it and explained my experience "I don't care about the video do not come into my shop again. Your business isn't welcome." Those girls could have hit me in the head, I'm sure the response would have been the same as despite sharing the video, the owner made ficticious claims that I was rude she didn't say how just your business isn't welcome. Wait, I've been buying from the store 6 years why would i be rude 🤔 That evening I cried. Drying tears I concluded IF it was a colour thing Im glad as I went online and saved myself nearly 30% I spend £150 instead of £210 👏🏾 My advice, i usually support local business but in this case, I'd say no. Save yr money buy direct or from the brand or Amazon. You'll be covered by a fair returns policy, efficient ppl and you won't have to potentially put up with harassing private messages from obnoxious shop owners. [Side note check out the review from another shopper at their Eton shop, now closed, on trip advisor. The response... 😲
