We interviewed 8 other firms before going with AD Practice. Heather, Julie and David have been instrumental in our house renovation and extension project, for the overall vision and guidance, technical know how and especially the attention to sustainable build methods and highly energy efficient home design we are looking to achieve. What we particularly appreciate with AD Practice is being a team, they bring different views and skills to the project so rather than being led to a single style that you have with a sole trader/freelance architect, here we were able to discuss with the team to get various viewpoints of call upon respective skills before making a decision. A large and complex project is as much about maintaining good working relationships and right from the day we met them we'd knew we'd get along with a "team" working on our project than with a single contact to depend on. We were guided expertly through the planning process, approved on first time despite being a total visual transformation in a conversation area, and being a Passive House certified designer gives us the best assurance of making our dream of a net-zero carbon home become a reality.

While that is fine, it was the tone and manner in which the manager spoke down to me, as if I offended him with my inquiry. This is not how you treat potential customers.
