    Can't praise Abl Health enough. Lifestyle coaches Shannon and Grace showed me how to exercise and eat sensibly so I lost 11% of my body weight and although I haven't lost any more in the last 12 months since completing the course I have maintained my body weight and my goals for the next 12 months is to reduce my dress size by a further 2 sizes.     Steve and Kieran from ABL Health delivered a series of Move and Groove sessions for the infant children at Heskin Pemberton's C of E Primary School and they were a huge hit. The children have learned so much about how they can exercise and keep themselves healthy whilst having fun moving and grooving. They are also helping to inject some fun into the mile run our junior children take part in and the response again from the children has been nothing but positive. Thank you so much, the children and staff highly recommend and look forward to more input from ABL Health in the future.

    ABL have been great with working with our entire year 7 pupils. They really get the pupils thinking about the food they eat and their activity levels. All the work they do is hands on, engaging and thought provoking making the lessons/sessions they deliver enjoyable for all involved. I believe this is the first time the company have worked with children within a secondary school but I can honestly say it doesn't show; the sessions are brilliant! Highly recommended

    Fantastic service current attending sessions at fulwood health centre, my life style coach gave me a tailored excerise plan and we have regular 1 on 1 chats where we discuss my progress on the program sessions are very relaxed and I go at my own pace the lifestyle coaches are very proffesional like that they know I've learned a lot on the program, very glad I called to self refer it it was faster than I expected and they explained everything to me over the phone I would recommend this service to anyone not just people looking to lose weight as they have classes for people simply looking to keep fit as well that I'm planning on attending.

    I very rarely write reviews however I feel I need to say the following as people are very quick to complain but not so quick to compliment. The programme run by ABL Health, in partnership with Lancashire County Council, offers free nutrition advice and exercise sessions to support people in making the small changes that can make a big difference and result in lifelong change. I joined the ABL Health programme after being recommended by my doctor to lose weight (7 Stone) and generally get fitter. The process was very quick and easy I just phoned the local number and I was dealt with very quickly and friendly. Within 14 days I was booked on to the Central Lancashire Programme where I met my Lifestyle Coach Sarah Holden. I also encouraged my wife Irene to join the scheme, she just phoned the same number and again was dealt with very quickly and friendly. I would like to thank ABL Health and in particular Sarah Holden for her help and encouragement that she has given both my wife and I throughout our time with the group. I cannot praise Sarah enough. She is a great ambassador for ABL Health. Since April 2017 to end of August I have lost 6st 6lb. My wife has lost close to 2 stones. The advice and guidance that the ABL Health team give is truly remarkable and achievable. The age levels in my class are mixed from 85 to 25 but we all have a similar goal. Trying to lose weight is generally the most boring and soul destroying thing that a lot of us have to endure but I would strongly recommend any one who needs help to lose weight or generally get fitter to join ABL Health. Sarah makes all of the meetings and exercises very friendly / fun and achievable. She manages to make every lesson a joy to attend and you also make new friends who have very similar goals to yourself. Sarah is exceptionally good at her job and she makes you feel very welcome every week. I can only say this has been a truly remarkable experience.     I rang the Preston number of this company on Friday 2 June asking about NHS prescribed exercise, at 9.30 am I spoke to one of their employees, who said she could not answer my question but would speak to one of the life coaches and ring me back. I waited until 2.30 pm and rang the Preston number only to be told I had got a Bolton number, I apologised and rang again and then again only to get the same Bolton number. After speaking to BT about a possible fault on the line they suggested the call may have been forwarded so I rang again. I was told by a different employee that there is no Preston Office it is a simply a number in the Bolton building I asked a question as to how I initiate the service she went and asked someone who said it would be "quicker if I got my Doctor to refer me" (six hours for a non-definitive answer that contradicts paperwork I later saw). I emailed the company to express my concerns and to complain. At 4.45pm an employee named Lisa rang and said there had been a "miscommunication" and that she had waited for a life coach but none had appeared so she decided to leave it until the following Monday.= (5th June) After an unsatisfactory conversation with this employee I was left with the impression that she would email me on Monday when she had a definitive answer - I have received no emails yet (Thursday 8th June). The calls I made to the company cost me over three pounds this is very expensive for the duration of the calls. I still do not know how to initiate the process despite having spoken to the Doctor and the Practice Nurse - the paperwork I saw today says self-referral. Lots of things appear to have gone wrong on this day.
