Helpful, honest and efficient. Removed a link from my watch to adjust the size, showed me how to do it myself in future so I don't have to return. I wasn't aware that I could remove the links myself (you wouldn't know by looking at the watch that it's possible) he didn't have to show me and there are places that may have used this as an opportunity to make money but he did not. I had just visited a jeweller who had tried to charge £10 to remove the links as "it's a designer watch so we charge more" luckily for me I walked away and found this place. My watch now fits comfortably and feels safer on my wrist. Excellent service and I highly recommend.

Battery repair was carried out by the shop. Went on holiday, took the watch in the pool and it shortly thereafter showed water damaged. Sent it back to the manufacturer for them to check when I returned and they said ‘Such damage suggests that the person who opened the watch was inexperienced and has damaged your watches gasket in the process of changing the battery, this has resulted in the water damage’ Spoke to the shop owner who then simply denied all responsibility and kept saying he ‘doesn’t guarantee the waterproofness of a watch when he has changed the battery’ Take the risk if you want to or just go somewhere else with some morals like Timpson.

Really nice shop with an excellent owner who is always willing to help you out with your watches. From removing links on watch bracelets to changing batteries. The batteries are swiss I was informed and I must admit that they do last a long time. The shop sells watches and clocks too along with some jewellery. Nothing but praise. Give the shop a try if you haven't already been here. Parking outside is a no no but you should find a spot nearby. Excellent.
