    Booked A A Thamesmead a month early in November, but only got informed less a day before checking in that there is emergency maintenance to be done and they had to cancel the booking. It was very stressful for my family because we had to scramble to find another accommodation in time (which is not cheap considering such a late booking). Upon reading other reviews, I realised that they have been doing the same to many others in the past as well. Though I can understand if there really is maintenance going on, but there's no doubt that only informing customers less than a day before checking in is highly unprofessional. There is also a sever lack of communication - I'd asked several questions days before checking in but they were all not responded to. I'd strongly recommend anybody considering staying here to first be aware of the potential risks associated with booking this place, no matter how attractive the prices may be.

    The biggest problem of this stay is that this person cancels the place 12 hours before the time of travel. We were planning to travel from sheffield to london and were bound to stay for 3 days. 12 hours before our travel, the owner of the property contacts one of my friend who booked this saying they are having maintenence issue and wants us to cancel this. Ridiculous to inform us like this at the last moment . Will never suggest this place to anyone.

    Well i can't really review the place as me and my girlfriend didn't really get the chance to stay there ! He sent us a shady message in the last minute telling that he CAN'T ACCOMODATE us anymore, without any good reason ! Moreover, he had the nerve to 'suggest' that WE should be the ones to cancel the BOOKING, with this ensuring that his hands are kept clean. My advice, AVOID this guy at any cost and also read all the other negative things written here.

Was poorly maintained and really good cleaning is not done in my opinion. There was mold around the windows and the air outlet in the bathroom was completely full of dust and dirt. The room was super noisy! You could literally hear everything. Snoring from the room next to us and noisy downstairs neighbors both in the evening and morning. When we wanted to check out, we called the number we got from the man who happened to be outside. And indicated that we would like to check out 9:00 in the morning to make something of the day. In the end we couldn't check out until 11:45, so our entire last day was lost. He did ask if we wanted to write a good review... all in all I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, in fact I don't think this should be rented out in the state it is in now and in terms of communication with the landlord. De kamer was super gehorig! Je kon letterlijk alles horen. Gesnurk van de kamer naast ons en luidruchtige onderburen zowel in de avond als ochtend. Toen we wouden uitchecken hebben we gebeld naar het nummer wat we van de man kregen die toevallig buitenstond. En aangegeven dat we graag 9:00 in de ochtend wouden uitchecken om nog iets van de dag te maken. Uiteindelijk konden we pas 11:45 uitchecken waardoor onze hele laatste dag verloren is gegaan. Wel vroeg die of we even een goede review wouden schrijvenโ€ฆ al met al zou ik dit niemand aanbevelen, sterker nog vind ik niet dat dit zo verhuurd mag worden in de staat hoe het nu is en qua communicatie met de verhuurder. Wil je genieten van een fijn rustig verblijf dichtbij londen kom hier dan NIET!
