    Absolutely brilliant family owned carpet shop. Best price and service around. Jade is very friendly and always tries to do the best by her customers. Very professionally and caring. First class from start to finish. Couldn't recommend A1 Carpets any higher and will tell everyone who needs a carpet to go to this company. The carpet is beautiful and was expertly fitted by Martin. He's an absolute star as well. If you need a carpet and have it fitted you couldn’t do any better than A1 Carpets.

    we used them quite often. and last time we are taking carpets to our home. when we put caret to last room my we saw it that about half of underlay is missing. and my husband go to shop and telling lady that somebody did mistake and we haven't enough underlay. and what she say?: -you are lying and you used that underlay in other property. and she go to back of shop and left my husband on his own!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. and the case is not about 40 pounds (we bought that missing underlay in other shop) but is about customer. could be other way explain that or solve problem. how she could say that guys can't do mistake in measurement? and we are lying? we are all humans...we all doing mistakes sometimes. we prefer taking carpets now from bigger companies...with better price...and BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE! WE WILL NEVER BACK AGAIN! rude lady! REPLY TO OWNER: please don't lie again...me and my husband been there many times. we didn't want underlay from you. we bought missing part from other shop because somebody from your company made measurements for underlay wrong!! that's it. we bought from you carpets + underlay. then you agreed with us to deliver materials and we will do job on their own. then we waiting and waiting and finally my husband bring materials from you because we want wait forever for delivery. how rude you can say that we are never been in your shop!! yes we been ...so may times. your defence is only: I don't who you are; you never been in our shop. what I am saying is that you made mistake and your customer service was bad to my husband. NOT PROFESSIONAL SERVICE AT ALL!

    I can’t rate A1 highly enough from their amazing customer service, patience with us when things went wrong in our house and having to push fitting’s back, to the fitter himself who made the whole experience worth the wait! I will be recommending A1 to all my family and friends and I recommend everyone requesting Martin to fit your carpets. Will definitely use them again whenever I need to!

    At the beginning, the service was at a high level. Unfortunately, when it came to the settlement of the labor for laying the carpet and contact with fitter and one of the company's employees, everything fell to zero. I did not receive the invoice on the end of the service, I had to ask for it. It is not possible to present your comments without an aggressive reaction. In fact, the company always wins and the customers are nothing. They are to leave the money in hand. I got an invoice with extra money to pay, about which I was not informed by the installer. The prices in this shop are good for carpets, but the rest is exaggerated: A1 carpets prices: 8mm hd underlay gripper £375, 10mm hd underlay gripper £470, door bars 3 =£21. Price from: Amazon 10mm underlay £114.00 , gripper £45.00 from Selco, door bar £10.50 also from Selco. The store's answer will be, as usual, that the customers are bad and do not know what they want.

    Delightful local carpet store. The owner Jade was extremely friendly and helpful, explaining the ins and outs of replacing the carpets in my house (first time for me). The measurements were taken swiftly, and the fitting date booked in soon after, meeting my tight schedule. The fitter Martin was professional, and patiently worked around the furniture in my house. Carpets were fitted nicely, and house looks fresh and new! :)

    Very rude and poor customer service, I don t pay money to be treated like that, when there are plenty more carpet shops around. Save yourself the hassle, shop elsewhere. Thank you for responding A1carpets, unfortunately you are completely wrong in what you have put, I paid in October 2021, waited for fitting booked in for the 5th November, which you cancelled 30 minutes prior to fitting due to a clerical error on your part, saying I owed £10, I, understandably wanted to check my bank before anything else and you cancelled after hanging up several times prior. I understand you are possibly angry with what I put, but if you won t deal with the facts, then how can i put a positive review? It was £85 for a 2 x 2.5 lino which was paid for 19/10/21. I would appreciate you rectifying the situation, by means of a refund, as you chose to cancel and to adjust your response accordingly as your statement is defamation of my character and misappropriation, as I do not owe anyone money, nor do I, as you said, 'rip people off'. That is not in my character and never will be.
