I contacted 4QD as I had urgent need for replacement control systems for 2off 24V electric 7 1/4" Locos. Both had Parkside controllers which had failed and there was no support available due to Covid. Steve at 4QD went through my needs and advised that their DNO 10 units would meet my requirements. The materials for the first Loco were sent overnight and I had enough time to setup one loco ready for a Grandson's party. I am delighted with the quality and performance of the 4QD equipment and the smoothness of operation. The size of the hand controller makes it easier for small hands to control and it is simple to use. The support from Steve was second to none and he was very good at solving other problems over the phone such as explaining the need for Catching Diodes on a relay and horns. I have no hesitation in recommending 4QD to anyone.

Excellent customer support. I had a bank of their old battery condition meters - which have now been superseded by a better but larger model. I wanted to keep using the old ones because I they fitted well into my little unit. However after several years of (literally) continuous use, some of the LEDs had failed to light. I wasn't sure if this was fixable, but they replied to my query by return of email, and posted out some new LEDs for free. I am only a small customer of what is only a minor part of their business, but I was impressed by their willingness to engage and help me, and by the speed of their response.
