Unfortunately, like many reviews here I take issue with the bouncers and the management staff. I have been refused entry due to a friend being Asian and 'people like him not being wanted here', as well as friends personal property taken and refused to be given back. When talking to the management about this, in a polite and logical manner, the only response they seem to be capable of is to get their bouncers, who seem to love to toe the line between their job and border line assault. Proceeding to kick us out, with the bouncer in question pushing us down the last flight of stairs, whilst another bouncer blocking our entry and arguing with us why we weren't leaving. Speaking with other people this seems not to be a unique experience. Whilst the music for those in Manchester looking for an Indie scene is good, I warn you that if you frequent this club, you will likely be the victim of the bouncers at some point or another. I would blame them however it is the management staff who facilitate this behaviour and continue to employ those who perform an agrivated and frankly racist (for some bouncers there, not all) approach to their job, and them who the blame for this unlimately lies on. I am more than willing to discuss this with the management if they feel they would like to take my review on board to review their situation, however based off my interaction with them, they and their staff seem to show no willing to do so, or are clearly incapable of forming the thought required to do so with the three pinballs that bounce around their empty skulls, as the facade of some sort of functioning central nervous system.

Bit dead. Music is grand but not consistent. Bit all over the place honestly. Dancefloor is quiet but drinks are cheap and bartenders are friendly. Venue seems fine just not the student spot I was told it was.

(Translated by Google) We wanted to go on a Wednesday evening. However, the bouncer wouldn't let us in as my colleague was wearing Nike pants, which from a distance look like joggers. He was cool and we chatted a bit with him. Rules are rules, he said. He couldn't help it either. So we tried again a day later - this time with normal blue/black jeans. The same bouncer was pleased to see us again and let us in without batting an eyelid. The location is a bit different. But the atmosphere and the music were great. A mix of indie rock, hip hop from Eminen to ABBA, YMCA and other well-known hits ensure a successful evening. It was therefore a pity that the club had to close at 3 a.m. Recommendation: - Arrive before midnight as the club closes at 3am - Clothing: normal jeans, clean shoes (e.g. white sneakers), t-shirt or shirt (Original) Wir wollten an einem Mittwochabend hingehen.
