Had this place recommended by a fellow cyclist while out on a ride. Decided to drop in a couple of days later. I was not disappointed. Only recently opened, as we came out of lockdown. It is a stunning old building conversion into a workshop and retail bike shop with attached cafe. The owner is helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly, with other family members running the attached cafe (The Tandem Cafe). The sandwiches were lovely and well presented. The luxury chocolate and nutty flapjack was gorgeous and great fuel for the ride home. Well worth the ride out. Highly recommended. You don't need to be a cyclist to drop in! UPDATE I required my damaged bike forks to be replaced by a new set. This involved cutting the new carbon fork stem to the correct size and working on the complicated hydraulic brake system. The standard of work was excellent and delivered well within the time frame that was quoted and at a reasonable cost. Very pleased. Thank you

I used the bike service here for my road bike for the first time earlier this year and was very impressed with the shop and services. I went back again recently to sort out some new problems with tubeless tyres, which got sorted out with a very high-quality standard of work! Paul is very knowledgeable and friendly, offering much appreciated advice when asked. I’ve appreciated the time he has taken with me whenever I’ve been to the shop. Really great to have a local bike shop like this. I’m definitely going back for all our future bike servicing needs.
