John Paul Macnamara, I cannot thank you enough for the top class service I received from you as my defence barrister. Honestly could not of wished for anyone better , you was top notch. For the past 2 / 2 and a half years as my defence barrister. You took my instructions very clearly and always kept me in the loop of the realistic outcome of my case, you battled legal issues in court extensively in favour of my case. My case had been going on for 32 months due to covid backlogging cases and hand on my heart could not of asked for anyone better to represent me. Once again thank you so much , IF I ever need a defence barrister in future you’ll be on my speed dial. Thank you JP I wish you all the best. Many thanks , Jake Hewson

I used Martin Davis for my fact finding hearing and paid him his full fee. He promised me my case is very strong as I have ample evidence of Domestic abuse and further more evidence were provided by the police reports and my GP. On the day of my fact finding hearing, I saw him receive a bundle of money from my ex husband I was confused and did find this suspicious but as I was already under a lot of stress I tried to concentrate on my case. As soon as myself and Martin came out of the court room, he told me that he is going to withdraw my case. I was extremely shocked and insisted we go ahead with the case as I had strong evidence and I was concerned about my children's well being. He still withdrew my case without my consent, I was unable to say anything as I had appointed a barrister. I was so upset that Martin had taken a bribe from my ex to ruin my case. He has no morals and does not care about the client or their case and just about money. I have now had to represent myself as I paid Martin a substantial amount of money for ruining my case.

I’m an art dealer. I have recently expanded our operations to the UK. Barrister Hammad Baig has assisted us in a number of issues ranging from resolving disputes with a counterparty; resolving issues with a popular and historical London based auction house; providing us and our clients advice on tax matters relating to investing in art; and customs and VAT issues in relation to the cross border movement of art and antiques. He is focused and attentive. He was quick to understand our business. His solutions have been practical and, most importantly for us, economical. We recommend him wholeheartedly.

We have instructed Barrister Hammad Baig in various cases involving disputes with HMRC, commercial litigation and insolvency. He addresses the problem and provides a practical solution. He is able to convey difficult legal and tax principles in an easy to understand manner. His mannerism is calm and he quickly gains the clients' confidence. He is impressive, cogent and concise in his advocacy and very effective on paper. He has an in-depth understanding of the law relating to Schedule 36 information notices and HMRC VAT assessments and penalties. We highly recommend his services.

This man is an absolute first-class barrister; we were in an absolute mess of a situation and he not only provided us with clear and detailed advice to get us the best results, but he did so with kindness and professionalism. His manner is courteous, calming, and efficient, and it lets you relax as you work things out because you know you’re in good hands. 100% recommended to anyone who’s going through a hard time of it and needs a helping hand.

I have used Mr. Baig services several time and I can not recommend him enough. Last time I need advice regarding a serious matter with HMRC regarding VAT and Mr Baig assisted me as well he was able to bring external assistance in order to solve the issue promptly and most important, on my interest.

I instructed Mr Baig to deal with an aggressive and illegal seizure of my commercial consignment being exported out of the UK to be processed under the Outward Processing Relief (OPR). Mr Baig's knowledge of the Customs and Excise procedures and the workings of Border Force and HMRC were impressive and resulted in a prompt release of the goods.
