This is a place which holds a lot of memories, having been a Beaver, Cub, Scout and Venture Scout here. It was practically a second home. Until now it's been around 20 years since I've been back. Now begins the journey of my son... Unfortunately he started Beavers (Monday night 5.15pm to 6.30pm) late due to COVID restrictions and a waiting list but now he's here it's full steam ahead. 3 months in; he's done countless activities and gained some badges. This weekend just gone he went on his first camp to Waddecar and absolutely loved it. Craig and the team are doing a fantastic job, keeping them busy and keeping us informed of everything they're doing via WhatsApp. Then venue itself is a big enough hall for numerous activities with kitchen and toilets plus grass around the side for outdoor activities. Looking forward to watching my boy grow up in the very place I did.
