My experience at the 1903 Lounge in Manchester was not a pleasant one, to say the least. Firstly, there was an incredibly long queue, which meant we had to wait for almost 20 mins before we could even get in. Upon being seated there was no cutlery available, which meant that we had to wait even longer in order to enjoy our food. Unfortunately, that's when things started to go downhill fast. The food on offer was of poor quality and inedible in my opinion. Additionally, the staff were extremely moody and clearly didn't want to be there. It was almost as though they were doing us a favor by serving us. When I brought up the poor food quality to the duty manager, she only made matters worse. She was clearly agitated from the start and proved to be very unhelpful throughout our conversation. The entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and for the price of admission, I would have expected something far more enjoyable. As such, I would not recommend the 1903 Lounge to anyone looking to have a good time, as a long queue, unavailability of cutlery along with moody staff and bad duty manager can ruin the experience. Spend it in one of the bars instead

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at the 1903 Lounge in Manchester Airport recently. Not only was the lounge dirty and uncomfortable, but the manager was also incredibly rude to us when we arrived a little late. Despite our explanation and apology, the manager made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable throughout our visit. To top it off, the staff kicked us out when our time was up, without any warning or explanation, leaving us feeling embarrassed and upset. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this lounge to anyone and would advise others to find a more welcoming and hospitable option

We went in this lounge expecting 2.5 hours but was told by the manager we could only have 2 hours . We go in the lounge because my wife is disabled and we like to stay away from the hectic crowds. And our flight was 4 hours 20 minutes off but the manger was very abrupt and said that was all we were entitled to. To this I said I was not very happy and would not book again to which I got the reply I do not care plenty of others will .we have used this lounge and everything was good . We left after the 2 hours and had 3 hours struggling in the terminal. Thank you manchester airport-lounges.

Go to check in 15 minutes early and was turned away, qued for 15 minutes to re check in again after 15 minutes, once we finally got into the 1903 lounge there were no seats available so had to wait. Food was very poor but a good drinks area. I have never used the 1903 lounge before and never will again, I could spend Ā£98 for 1.5 hours somewhere else for better food and friendly staff. All in all a complete ripoff.

My wife and I have both travelled worldwide our entire careers. This fabulous lounge is by far the filthiest facility we have encountered. Get your act together. Every table every chair every square meter of flooring is filthy dirty

No ice for an hour, someone clearly overwhelmed by being on her own. Not really the best start to our holiday
