I honestly cannot recommend this apartment enough! The location could not have been better. For being so central it was quiet and peaceful. And it was a joy to hear the sound of the York Minster bells. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the facilities perfect. Claire is a wonderful host and she made our stay even more special. I didn't want to leave!

Don't even think of staying anyplace else in York when you can stay at this place. It is terrific in every way from the location to the amenities to the communication of the hosts. The place is unique and tastefully decorated. Everything works! It is immaculate, There are plenty of York related info and books to acquaint you with the city plus there are bonus discounts and even a gift from Betty's....the best cafe down the block for a great brunch or tea. We will always stay here as we could not have had a better and more central location to everything that is York. Lovely to hear the Minster bells each day too! We give this a five plus star rating. We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend in York. This apartment is the best we have stayed in on our annual kiddy free York Christmas long weekend (has been our Christmas treat for the last 12 years!) The location is as central as you can get and the accommodation is so clean, spacious warm and secure not forgetting all the 'mod cons'. The communication with the hosts was second to none. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to return.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at here. I was traveling alone for first 3 nights and felt so secure and safe. Location was so central to everything I was doing whilst visiting my daughter who attends York St John uni . Appreciated the tea and coffee upon arrival and had I have had time to be a tourist there were plenty of books and guides sharing what to see and do Home was clean beautiful and comfortable - will definitely look to stay again
