I am writing a review after long time as had been extremely busy , I did travel a lot and many reviews are pending to be posted here. But after visiting 1498 , I couldn’t help but decided to share my pleasant dining experience with you all. I loved the entrance to the restaurant. the restaurant has a very tasteful decor, classy. just the right lighting. staff very courteous. The paneer starter was to die for. I learnt that the owner is the also a very experienced chef and that is such a plus for a restaurant for you know that food quality will never be compromised. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant if you are in Petersborough or maybe make a trip there just to eat the food.

Best Indian food in town and great value. Lovely building, super welcoming staff. I take and recommend all my friends who all say the same. Lloyd the owner really makes you feel welcome and makes the effort to come chat always making you feel special. The only problem is we now go here too much!!!
