    Kim er en meget afslappet fyr, der tager fremragende billeder! Alt gik meget glat og føltes naturligt. Vi var yderst tilfredse med billederne, og der var en god kombination af traditionelle billeder og mere kreative billeder. Kim er ikke bange for at eksperimentere lidt og er meget kreativ - det førte til en masse sjov og nogle fantastiske billeder.

    Kim is awesome! Neither my husband or I loved the idea of formal, stiff wedding pictures and thankfully Kim doesn't like them either. We had so much fun taking pictures because Kim allowed us to be ourselves. We just got our sneak peeks back and they look fantastic. The mixture of playful and artistic images are just what we imagined our wedding photos to look like.     TLDR: Kim was communicative, helpful, patient, and calming throughout the entire experience! Highly recommended if you’re looking for a wedding photographer in his area. We are a couple currently based in Germany and had planned on getting married in Esbjerg, Denmark in May, 2023. We used a Danish company to help us with all the paperwork, etc. and they had Kim as a recommended service provider on their website. After reaching out to Kim he quickly set up a phone call so we could get to know each other and we were off to the races. Prior to that we filled out a quick “get to know you” questionnaire so we had some stuff to talk about from the beginning. The call was fun, easy and set a great basis for our working relationship. After paying the deposit we continued to stay in contact and laid out our plans for the wedding day. It was really simple and since this was our first time getting married Kim was super helpful throughout. On the day of Kim showed up on time and honestly, it was really easy to forget he was there. He’s a big buy, with a big beard, and a warm personality. When he was taking photos he just … disappeared. In a good way! We chatted after the day about how we barely noticed that he was taking photos. Exactly what you want in a wedding photographer! We didn’t have a big wedding but wrangling family members was a challenge at times and our schedule was quickly not on track. Kim improvised, made suggestions, and even gave us a ride to a beautiful beach spot in Rømø for some photos. Without him I think the whole process would have been a lot more stressful and from that first phone call he really made it easy to trust him. I’m glad we did. We received the sneak peek photos a week later and they are beautiful! We’re so happy and cannot wait to get the rest. Kim, thank you again for all your help, direction, and hard work!     I read some other reviews, and I could relate to all of them. Not only because of the excellent result but mostly because of the whole experience. It was fantastic! Choosing Kim was the best decision we made. We had a virtual meeting with Kim where he asked us what our idea was. We said we had no idea at all, but we were sure we didn't want any "posing or modeling" session. That day, Kim came to our hotel. He was a big sweet viking that made us feel comfortable right away. After having some champagne, he told us: "Just forget about me." He was four hours with us: walking around the city, having some sushi and of course getting married! :-) He did magic! We felt so good and relaxed... and you can see that on every picture. When we saw the photos for the first time, we thought: "he did a perfect job, capturing every moment, every detail. He was telling a story, our story, in the most beautiful way. " Since we got married alone and we hadn't told anyone before, it was important to us to be able to share our experience through the photos. Once we shared them with family and friends, ALL of them were fascinated! They all agreed that Kim could build a beautiful story with his photos. People, Kim is worth every penny! THANK YOU, Kim! For the most wonderful experience in Copenhagen and the most beautiful photos we could ever imagine.

    At first, my (now) wife and I wanted to be just among the two of us for our elopement. But then we stumbled over Kim's website. We contacted Kim and spend over an hour on the phone with him to get to know each other. And it became increasingly clear to us, that Kim is the only kind of person we would like to have with us on that day. The pictures he took speak for themselves, but even more remarkable was to us how he took the pictures - he didn't tell us what to do but let us be ourselves, he brought us to beautiful locations, and he was/is just a very nice person to have around you on that day. We are extremely happy that we chose Kim to be our photographer for our elopement, and we highly recommend that others take the same decision!

    I will never forget the day we spent in Ribe, when we wandered along the beach and forests, immersed in the world that belonged to us. By the time we received the photos from Kim, we were so touched and wanted to cry - those fantastic photos with calm and stylish colors vividly captured our emotions and revealed cherished memories to us. Kim is the best photographer I have ever met. He carefully asked us the songs, music, and movies we liked to sense our preferences for the big day. And he apparently did a throughout research on the route as he knew where to meet our expectations. At the end of the day, I began to realize what made our photos so touching because Kim could proceed without being noticed - just like he were stealthy around, letting us freely enjoy ourselves so that the smiles on our faces were genuine!     We were looking for potential photographers in the area of Ribe (DK) to shoot our elopement and we found Kim. Even before we signed a contract with him, he spent an hour or two talking to us to about our taste in photography, our outdoor interests, our expectation from the photos and so on. This discussion really established a common ground for us and also built trust. Kim scouted the locations before the photoshoot and knew exactly where to go. We had our photoshoot before the ceremony so time was a factor but Kim's planning was spot on. The photos turned out brilliant. Kim is your man.

    People may think it's easier than having your traditional wedding, but no matter how hard you try, you really cannot avoid stressors brought about by eloping. From visa delays to last minute dress alterations, not everything goes according to plan. Not with our chosen photographer though. We had a seamless experience with Kim of Woodland Diaries. From the get-go, we fell in love with his body of work. When we reached out to him, he graciously met us virtually to have a lovely chat. I remember that it was a snowy morning in Copenhagen back then, but we could definitely feel his warmth six thousand miles away. We knew that getting married in a foreign land means we're going in blind, but Kim was kind and patient in answering any of our questions even before we met. To our delight, he is as equally pleasant in person. As a couple who is normally awkward in photos, he made us feel that we can just be ourselves. Looking back, we don't remember trying too hard; we just remember how much fun we've had. And we deserved that.     My husband - wow still feels unreal to say that! - and I had so much fun shooting with Kim during our elopement! I still look at the photos everyday and just wish we could go back to those moments. Kim has an amazing talent for creating a relaxed atmosphere and capturing the most intimate and joyful moments. No posing, no awkward direction - just us being us. At some point we really just forgot he was there and just hung out and enjoyed being together. The photos really show that!
